Christmas came in early!
I was finally able to buy myself an early Christmas present—a nice Yashica Electro 35 GSN! I’m really happy that this baby is my first rangefinder. She’s beautiful, and a challenge!
I have this bad habit of naming my cameras. I have Helga (Holga 120 CFN), Vivian (Vivitar UWS), Ken (Nikon FE2), and Tammy (Konica Tomato). Now, what should I call this lovely lady?
Somebody ordered dimsum?
Tokyo Cafe’s Choco Banana Almond Crepe
Tokyo Cafe takes pride in their roster of desserts, among them are mouth-watering crepes. I love their crepes not only because they’re eye candies, but also because they taste just right. Not too sweet, not too bland.
Choco Banana Almond Crepe has everything yummy in its name—chocolate sauce, fresh banana slices, almond slivers. Oh, and the menu also says don’t forget the banana sauce and banana nut ice cream. What a heavenly concoction.
Tokyo Cafe’s Chicken and Cheese Rolls
This dish looks a lot more appetizing in actual. I love how it’s served freshly cooked and not too greasy. The chicken stays tender even when cold and the cheese isn’t too salty. These rolls come with a salsa dip that makes it extra yummy.
Tokyo Cafe’s Salmon Cream Pasta
I got to try this new pasta dish from Tokyo Cafe with a friend yesterday. Creamy pasta dishes are good in my book, and as soon as I saw this one, I knew I had to try it.
Although it’s not as good as the Creamy Ebiko Pasta, this one still packs a punch on the tastebuds. I love the combination of creamy pasta sauce and the slightly salty salmon (had a hint of smoky flavor, I was stupid not to remember the menu description for it). A little spritz of lemon adds a bit more tangy flavor.
